2009 HARLEY-DAVIDSON XR1200 Sportster, The XR1200 is the sportiest of the Sportsters. It is syled after the XR750 dirt trackers that Harley riders have campaigned on half mile and mile tracks across America for decades. you can almost imagine seeing it sliding sideways powering through a clay banked turn throwing a roost off the rear wheel but as the warning disclaimer says 'don't try this at home'. But the upside down forks, rough cast engine finish, racer seat and tail section, and upswept exhaust makes this bike look fast sitting still. This one is all stock with low miles and in top shape. 46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
