The 2009 Road King Classic retains its 16-inch front and rear laced steel wheels and wide-whitewall tires. Tooled leather covers the seat trim and the leather-covered saddlebags. Touring features include a large detachable windshield, auxiliary passing lights, and standard cruise control. Two-tone fender graphics are new for 2009, and a new license bracket locates the plate above the tail lamp. A new chassis designed to deliver precise responsive maneuverability, increased capacity and greater comfort for rider and passenger underpins the seven-model Harley-Davidson Touring family for 2009. New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
Harley-Davidson Opens First Showroom in Vietnam

Located in Phu My Hung in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City, the new Harley-Davidson of Saigon opened its doors this past weekend with a full lineup of 27 models. Vietnam is one of the world’s largest markets with sales of 3.1 million two-wheelers in 2012, trailing only China, India and Indonesia.
EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500

Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.
