2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide , This is a 2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide. This bike has won numerous shows to include Baddest Bagger in Sturgis (modified) 2011, Bikes Blues and BBQ - Best in Show 2011, Sturgis Rats Hole - Extreme Bagger 2012. This bike is not a trailer queen. It has been ridden to Sturgis in its current form, and had no problems doing so. The bike is very reliable even with the supercharger. It runs on premium pump gas. No special fuel needed. It has always run synthetic oil and changed regularly. Harley-Davidson Secures NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Title With One Round Remaining
Mon, 29 Oct 2012The indomitable Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines drag racing team has set the stage to claim another championship in motorcycle drag racing. Ed Krawiec raced to his ninth Pro Stock Motorcycle win of the season and third in a row at the Big O Tires NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend, ensuring the 2012 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle championship title will go to the Harley team. Krawiec now carries a 111-point advantage going into the last round; only his teammate, Andrew Hines, remains as a contender to claim the crown as champ.
AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
ACCEL Stealth Supercoils Now Available For Harley-Davidson Sportsters
Fri, 08 Aug 2014ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters. First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.
