Harley-Davidson Other description

We are selling a unique Harley motorcycle hearse funeral service. The sale includes a black Harley Davidson Road King Custom Trike along with a piano black Tombstone Hearse.

We’ve been helping appreciative families transcend the traditional funeral with a fitting motorcycle send-off that celebrates individualism and living life to the fullest. We give people an opportunity to SHAKE THE GROUND ONE MORE TIME. The owner of the company is retiring and is making this one-of-a-kind opportunity available to someone that loves motorcycles and is seeking a business venture that matches their lifestyle.

In addition to the Harley Hearse and trailering package, this sale comes with the marketing assets of the Boot Hill Hearse company. Your purchase includes the logo, website, the contact list for some US funerals homes as well as some one-of-a-kind products related to the funeral industry. Boothill Hearse is a trademark name, registered in Canada.

The gorgeous bike at the front of the procession is a 2011 88 Harley Road King Custom Trike. This incredible motorcycle has only been used for funerals and is in near new condition with 845 original miles.

The hearse is a custom built piano black Tombstone Hearse in perfect condition. Featuring a deluxe fabric and curtain package along with chrome fixtures and hardware, this classy and classic motorcycle hearse is built in the style of a Victorian-era horse drawn hearse.

We are asking $74,000 US for everything in this turn-key package. We will deliver the bike and hearse to anywhere in the continental US conditional on deposit, the balance paid at delivery by money transfer.

For serious inquiries, call Hank at 519-751-8693.

35 years ago this month

Fri, 28 May 2010

IT'S 35 YEARS since Evel Knievel attempted to jump 13 London buses at Wembley Stadium. Riding a heavy, slow Harley-Davidson XR750, the American daredevil had serious reservations about the jump, admitting the take-off ramp was too short, therefore limiting the bike's speed. But even though the plucky American knew his chances of pulling off the stunt were slim, he was reluctant to disappoint the 80,000-strong Wembley crowd.

Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
