Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.
2014 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic Recalled
Tue, 08 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
