Harley-Davidson Other description

**Price reduced*** 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special with the Screaming Eagle Stage 2 kit installed. The bike has 3350 miles but is subject to change slightly because I still ride it occasionally. -- I am the first and only owner and it has been babied since day one. The stage 2 kit for V-Rods is a cam kit, high flow air filter, and a dyno tune. In addition to these upgrades I have also added a SuperTrapp Fat Shot muffler system and Harley Davidson custom hand grips. I have added around $2500 worth of upgrades. Here is your chance to own a Night Rod the way it should've been from the factory for a steal. ----This bike was professionally upgraded, professionally maintained, and has zero issues. These bikes typically have around 125 hp from the factory, but with this stage 2 kit and the exhaust it's around 145. That's a 20 horsepower increase over a stock Night Rod. All work was done at Harley Davidson World, in Oklahoma City. I had the work done right after the 1,000 mile service so it was done the right way. It rides just like stock until you roll into the throttle and it goes like no other Harley you've ever ridden.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2012 Results

Tue, 23 Oct 2012

Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $134.0 million dollars over the third quarter of 2012. That represents a 27% decrease from the net profit of $183.6 million reported over the same quarter of 2011, but the drop was an expected result from a planned decrease in third quarter shipments as Harley-Davidson adopts an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) manufacturing system at its York, Pa., factory. The Milwaukee company shipped 52,793 motorcycles in the three months ended Sept.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

Mon, 17 Oct 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.

The TwinTrax Is A Machine Straight From Mad Max

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

Just look at this motorcycle for a moment. A creation of the German Motorcycle Authority, the TwinTrax is nearly 107 inches long, weighs 882 pounds, and took owner/builder Christoph Madaus 12 years to complete. Oh, and don’t forget the two Harley-Davidson V-Twins powering this thing.
