2012 Harley-Davidson Road King - FLHR, Harley-Davidsons Road King has been a staple model in the American Motor Companys line-up for quite some time. And for 12 it receives a few upgrades that make it more pleasing to ride than ever before. The Twin Cam 103 V-Twin engine. The air/oil-cooled mill pumps out 1690ccs of power and is mated to a six-speed transmission and a belt final drive. In stock configuration the engine belts out just over 86 lb-ft of peak torque at 3400 revs.

Rare Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Memorabilia Up for Auction
Tue, 24 Jun 2014More than 500 rare Harley-Davidson motorcycles and collector’s items will be hitting the auction block on June 28. The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.
Harley-Davidson and Best Western Expand Partnership
Wed, 20 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson and Best Western have announced a three-year extension to their partnership which will now expand beyond North America. The two companies have been working together since 2006, providing benefits to customers of both brands. Under the new agreement, Best Western becomes the official lodging partner of Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations as well as the preferred lodging partner of Harley-Davidson’s rentals and tours division.
Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
