2011 Harley-Davidson Street Glide , 2011 Harley-Davidson Street Glide , If you're looking for one of the nicest, most beautiful baggers out there, look no further! This is a 2011 Martin Brothers Streetglide that is absolutely gorgeous from head to toe and is guaranteed to turn heads everywhere you go. The coolest part about this bike is that it's not just a Harley; this was Joe Martin's personal bike. Anyone can build a harley, put bags on it, fender, tank etc... but not everyone has the chance to own a bike built by a world renowned builder. This bike was featured in July 2012 issue of Baggers Magazine and has a 5 page writeup. It has a breath taking paint job done by Joe himself, Martin Bros 1 off exhaust, Pickard 26" chrome front wheel, Pickard 16" rear to match as well as a matching 18" rear if you want to change. All of the body work, fenders, etc... are Martin Bros. The bike originally started as a 2010 Harley police bike so it has a 103ci engine and an added Screaming Eagle tuner. Although started as a 2010 police bike, it has a 2011 Martin Brothers vin and is titled as a "2011 Martin and Martin". Has air ride rear suspension, custom cut windshield, Klockwerks dash, Arlen Ness grips, Arlen Ness forks, Drag Specialties floor board, PM foot controls, custom seat, custom handlebars made by Joe. Stereo is Kenwood radio w/ Kenwood speakers. The list of stuff goes on and on. The bike runs and rides perfectly and needs absolutely nothing. I really hate to part with it but I hardly ever get to ride it and just had a baby so I know it will get ridden even less now. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
India Raises Import Duty on Motorcycles to 75%

The news will impact several major manufacturers hoping to gain a stake in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. India has become the hotspot for manufacturers but one of the biggest obstacles they face is the duty India levies on luxury goods.
2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
