The 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Road King FLHRSE5 model is the ultimate hot rod boom bagger. It packs a premium audio system that plays through speakers in the fairing lowers and saddlebag lids. For 2013, the CVO Road King model comes in an even more limited availability, serialized 110th Anniversary Special Edition, featuring exclusive commemorative anniversary styling elements, premium features and finely forged finishes that make it a top-of-the-line model and a true work of motorcycle art. The FLHRSE5 Road King model CVO has a detachable short custom wind deflector that cuts the wind for more comfortable riding. The H-D CVO Road King model offers custom extended saddlebags that add to the bike's premium touring capabilities, and custom-style Agitator wheels that add to its bold boulevard style. The Twin Cam 110 engine with Screamin' Eagle badges provides 110 cubic inches of power, a low cruising RPM, and lots of low end torque, along with silky smooth shifting of its six-speed cruise drive transmission. Chrome touring mufflers are a beautiful set of pipes that look great, sound impressive and keep rider and passenger safe from exhaust heat. Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump
Tue, 28 Apr 2009Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history. People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here… Why not motorcycles? Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes. Personally, I think it looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.
AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
