Harley-Davidson Softail description

I purchased this 1992 HD Softail with only 6100 original miles on it. It's the iconic aqua and cream with the HD painted tank logo. The paint is in excellent condition. I put several thousand dollars into customizing it with new chrome, authentic HD parts, tires and twisted spoke wheels. Here's a list of some of the parts installed:
-Python Radius Venom pipes
-16" x 3" front and rear twisted spoke wheels by V Twin
-Drag Specialties 16" Buffalo Ape Hangers
-Fully braided lines
-HD Classic teardrop mirrors
-Classic chrome headlamp, turn signal, passing lamp and tail light visors
-Concho fender skirt
-Heritage chrome front fender rail
-Leather tank panel with pouch, concho and chrome studs
-HD half moon rider footboards and crested bar and shield collection passenger footpegs along with matching shifter and brake pedal
-Stictched leather handgrips
-Lots more too much to list.

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.
