Harley-Davidson Softail description

I have had this baby since 1996.  My buddy bought it from a guy who worked at Harley.  That’s how it ended up with the 1995 paint job.  It has been to the 100th and out to Sturgis.  It is in environmentally controlled storage.  Time for someone to start riding her again.

It is in great shape and runs very strong.  The heads have been shaved providing a nice performance boost, while staying completely reliable.  Hopefully you will get as much enjoyment from her as I have.

Cool Cycles Ice Cream

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

John Gibson had a vision 15 years ago to sell ice cream from a motorcycle sidecar, inspired while running as he listening to motivational guru, Tony Robins. After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.

Harley-Davidson Wire Sculpture

Thu, 12 Nov 2009

Contemporary Artist Derek Kinzett is based out of the U.K. and works with wire to create some stunning sculptures. I cant imagine how long it must have taken to make this Harley-Davidson replica but I am sure he is well compensated.  Kinzett has even been commissioned by Nicolas Cage, hopefully he received his payment before Cage’s IRS bill came in…
