Harley-Davidson Softail description

Here is a beautiful low mileage 2001 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail, under 6300 original miles, Just had a complete service from Tramontin Harley shop. Driven by an older gentleman and always babied and garaged, First i will say that the bike is showroom condition with the exception of one small mark on the inside of the front fender and some marks on the front of the seat where the cat jumped up ( has anyone seen my cat? its been missing a while :) Has all the original Harley Davidson accessories along with the factory alarm system.chrome and paint are excellent, Runs like new and sounds awesome. new rear seat foot rests were added. This a a beautiful turn key Harley with low original miles. This is about as close as you can get to owning a new Heritage Softail. Thanks for looking! Onsite inspection is welcome

Harley-Davidson’s Vanity Fair Photo Shoot

Tue, 12 May 2009

Harley-Davidson has JUST uploaded a new video to YouTube (seriously! It was at 0 views when I got there!).  The video is a behind the scenes look at Harley-Davidson’s photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Watch the behind the scenes footage from Harley-Davidson’s new print campaign in the June Issue of Vanity Fair that salutes women riders and encourages females who have not yet hit the road on two wheels to “experience life with no regrets.” The women featured are health and wellness expert and NBCs The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels; Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter Jewel; television and film actor Tricia Helfer; and Los Angeles rider/entrepreneur Deborah DiMiceli.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
