Beautiful bike. Custom Metallic Silver paint job. We just spent thousands making this bike right. Half the bike is new. Our loss is your gain. Here is the story. All Twin Cam bike have cam chain tensioners and should all be checked. When replacing the tensioners, the pinion shaft should be checked to make sure it is not out of spec which should not exceed .012. If you just replace the tensioners, as many would, you will just wear them our prematurely again. Many simply just replace the tensioners and don't worry about it. This bike was out of spec so we installed new HD flywheels making current spec .002. We installed new cam tensioners, new entire motor gasket kit, new adjustable pushrods, new cam bearings, new Harley Dunlop tires, new oil pump, new brake pads, new charging system rotor, plugs, & detailed. 33,824 miles total and 5 since all this work was performed. Many extras: Entire chrome front end with chrome sliders/lower legs, chrome tins, chrome axe covers, and chrome cowbells. Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 air cleaner, Fuel injection download, Bassani Pro-Street exhaust with heatshields, mini front turn signals, turn signal relocation kit, chrome grips, chrome levers, 1.25" fat drag bars, chrome frame inserts, chrome pivot bolt covers, badlander low profile seat, & tons of factory chrome. Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
