Harley-Davidson Softail description

This is a 2005 Softail Deluxe Harley with a lot of extras added. I am the original owner and it has been garage kept. I have used it mildly only putting 13,092 miles on it. It was originally the Black and White version but I changed the skins to a 2006 Limited Edition #28/150. The handle bars were changed to Heritage pull backs with a longer riser. The wiring was changed to cables. The forks were changed to all chrome. The seat was changed to a Mustang Seat with memory foam. The exhaust was changed to Vance & Hines Super Radius pipes (they sound great). Crash bar with highway foot pegs. Wind deflectors, Heat deflectors and lots of chrome. The air filter cover is a beautiful LED Infinity light that changes colors and the Cam Cover is a ring of lights that also changes colors. LED red lights mounted under the tank and seat.
I am including the original Harley seats and the Mustang passenger seat as well as the removable back rest, passenger back rest and the removable saddlebags.
I sure LOVE to look at this bike and listen to it but since I don't ride anymore and my husband sold his Harley a couple of months ago, I need to let someone else enjoy this beauty. Please contact me or my husband if you have any questions.

Harley-Davisdon Claims US Market Share Lead for Women, Minorities and Young Adults

Mon, 22 Apr 2013

For some time now, Harley-Davidson has been trying to fight the stereotyped image of its customer base as being predominantly older, Caucasian males. Harley-Davidson‘s Stereotypical Harley campaign became a big part of the company’s advertising efforts in 2012, featuring real Harley-Davidson owners and showcasing the large diversity of its riders. Fighting against preconceptions can be difficult but Harley-Davidson has some numbers to prove its motorcycles are popular with other demographics including young adults, women and minorities.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
