Harley-Davidson Softail description

Up for auction is this stunning 2005 Harley Heritage Softail. This is a two owner bike with hardly 10,000 miles on it. The light use is evident in the near perfect condition of the chrome and polished accents. The engine appears flawless, with not the slightest hint of any oil beginning to weep. This bike has always been stored indoors and with its new battery, fires straight away and settles into a classic Harley idle. The fuel injection makes for a smooth, reliable touring bike and the included windscreen and saddlebags add comfort to those longer trips. Also included are a passenger saddle and OEM owners manual. Please see photos for condition and don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Harley is giving you a chance to pay your respects and support our military, it doesn’t hurt that they are giving away a Harley-Davidson motorcycle which will be personally delivered by Marisa Miller and a trip to Las Vegas to see UFC 108. Details and a promotional video after the jump. Its as easy as 1, 2, 3.  The first step is pick a postcard on the Harley site, make your statement of thanks and submit for all to see.  There are also some cool retro calendars available featuring Marisa Miller but will only be available to active military and veterans starting November 11th, there are posters and postcards available for everyone starting November 1st.

Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?

Tue, 18 Aug 2009

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.
