Apple Lightning Connector Trademark Acquired from … Harley-Davidson and Buell?

Apple is one of the world’s most powerful brands, and it looks like it recently enlisted the help of another top brand: Harley-Davidson. The two companies are among the top 100 brands in the world, as ranked by brand consultancy firm Interbrand. Apple is #2 on Interbrand’s rankings for top brands of 2012 with a brand value of $76.57 billion, while Harley-Davidson is ranked 96th overall with a value of $3.86 billion.

2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two and Softail Slim Revealed

As expected, Harley-Davidson pulled the wraps off of two new 2012 models, the ’70s-styled Seventy-Two Sportster (pictured above) and the bobber-styled Softail Slim. Motorcycle.com‘s Tom Roderick attended the launch of the two new 2012 Harley-Davidson models and he’ll have a full report. 2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB

The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
