2008 Harley-Davidson FXSTC Softail Custom
This bike is essentially stock, with the exception of the accessories noted below, and only has 7412. I recently purchased this bike from Brian's Harley-Davidson in Langhorne, PA on 5/17/16. At that time, the bike had 7168 miles on it. As things turn out, I just don't have enough time to ride and hate to see it sit in the garage. Prior to taking delivery of the bike, Brian's put on a new rear tire and battery. The luggage rack was also on the bike at that time. Since I bought, I installed the following: - Vance & Hines Big Shot Exhaust, ceramic black - Vance & Hines Air Cleaner Element - Custom Tune from Fuel Moto The bike is in like new condition and would welcome any serious buyers that would like to inspect it. Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India
Fri, 18 May 2012India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
Harley-Davidson Dealers Top 2012 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index
Mon, 07 May 2012Harley-Davidson dealerships topped the rankings for the 2012 edition of the Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, an industry benchmarking study examining how well dealerships treat customers, and turning shoppers into buyers. The Pied Piper PSI rated different manufacturers’ dealerships in a number of categories to produce an overall score. The study was conducted between July 2011 and April 2012 with 1,653 anonymous “mystery shoppers” gathering information at different dealerships across the U.S.
