There’s $3,000 in custom paint using a bake booth and real 23k gold leafing. The paint and gold leaf look absolutely stunning sitting on top of the new Heritage Springer front fender and the new Fat Boy rear fender! The highest quality wheels, rotors, and pulley are from X-treme Machine. The contrast cut brake calipers are from P.M. The bike received the “Dooman Slam” lowering kit to bring the back down. The kit is fully adjustable and you can raise it to 1” over stock or slam it 5 full inches. This is a great kit for all Cross Bones, Fat Boy Low or Custom Soft-tail with wide rear factory tire. Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.

Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
