Harley-Davidson Softail description

2013 Heritage Softail Classic (FSLTC)-Color is Soda Orange & Beer Bottle. 3280 original miles. I purchased the bike on January 5, 2013 at AD Farrow Harley in Columbus. My job simply doesn't give me time to ride as much as I would like. I have added several upgrades. 1. 2 into 1 Cobra Exhaust ($589)
2. Dynojet Power Commander V fuel module ($350) 3. Dynojet Auto Tuner that automatically adjusts the Power Commander V settings. ($430) 4. Cycle Sounds Rock Box and waterproof 200W speakers ($900) 5. Linby Highway Bar ($349) 6. Skull Mirrors ($100) 7. LED Rear tail lights/blinkers0 (not the brake light) ($180) Also Chrome headlight and fog light visors. It also has a Screaming Eagle Stage 1 air filter. The bike has never been dropped or involved in any type of accident. It has always been garaged. It just had an oil change and a rear brake pad. That surprised me but they said it needed one. You will get the software for the Dynojet tuner and two half helmets. There is one very tiny ding on the fuel tank and a scuff on one of the removable saddle bags. I paid $1700 for five years of tire and wheel coverage that I will transfer to the new owner. It expires on 1/5/2018. Please email me with any questions.

Brazilian Police In Search of Carjacking Suspect: First Name Harley, Last Name Davidson

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

Brazilian police made what they thought was a breakthrough in an investigation into a string of carjackings. The key evidence was a baseball cap bearing what police believed was the suspect’s name: Harley Davidson. Sergeant Cunha, chief of police in the town Guapo in central Brazil, appeared on a television news station Goiania with an appeal to the public for help in finding a Mr.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.

Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary

Thu, 08 Dec 2011

Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.
