Harley-Davidson Softail description

2013.5 Harley Davidson Breakout, modified with Mini-Apes.  Vivid Black, fuel injected.  This bike does NOT have ABS nor the security system and I paid MSRP of $17,899 at the time.  It has all of the normal HD hand control function, as well as toggle through trip odometer, gear/RPM ratio readout, distance until empty readout, time of day readout and mileage readout within the tachometer display.  It has 1,125 miles and counting, not a daily driver but I will probably ride this once or twice to bike night or around town.  It has the 103 cu inch motor, 6 Speed transmission, 240mm 18" rear gasser style mag wheel, 3.5" x 21" front gasser style mag wheel.  I made a few changes/upgrades to the bike mostly for fit but I have all of the stock parts available to change it back to stock.  It is tastefully chrome trimmed with the right touch of chrome and black.  I had some misfortune come my way, so I have to try to sell it.

Current MSRP for a 2014 Vivid Black is $18,499 at the dealer, and you have to pay fees, taxes and possibly a mark up on the MSRP.  If you want to get another color you'll pay even more.  I paid $25,500 for the bike after fees, taxes, parts and labor.  I think my asking price is fair, after all you might end up paying as much for a stock Breakout.  By mine and ride away customized.  I will entertain decent offers, but please be serious about a transaction.
Added parts are listed below, buyer will save a bunch of $$$.  Just the leather seats, sissy bar and bags cost almost $1500 alone.:
  • Front spike axle covers adonized black, aftermarket.
  • Front spike riser bolt covers chrome, aftermarket.
  • Headlamp visor style trim ring chrome, HD 69735-05.
  • 10" denim black Mini Apes 1.25" HD 55859-10A fat bars internally wired, mounted on stock riser.  This brings your hands to 14" high from top of triple tree, 1.5" back towards the rider sitting you upright and no pressure on your back.  Very comfortable riding position.  The riser that came with the kit will not work due to the stock handlebar clamp having a skirt on it, but the kit's riser comes with sale of the bike.  The plan was to find a straight riser that replaces the stock pullback while keeping the stock clamp with integrated gauges.
  • Upper Fork Nut Covers, HD 46129-98B.
  • Diamond Black collection Throttle/idle cables, HD 38597-09.
  • Diamond Black collection Clutch cable, HD 38916-09A.
  • Diamond Black collection Front Brake upper and lower cables, HD 41800112A and 48920-10.
  • Gauge Speedo/Tach trim ring visor, HD 74661-04
  • Handlebar Clamp Bolt covers, HD.
  • Flush mount fuel cap chrome, HD 63135-10A.
  • Slipstream collection hand grips, HD 56100029 (these are the same as found on the CVO model).
  • Black Hand Control Levers for clutch and front brake, HD 44994-07.
  • Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather, HD 29299-08.
  • Heavy Breather Medallion, HD 29017-09.
  • Slipstream collection driver and passenger foot pegs, HD 50500091 (same as found on the CVO model).  The stock foot pegs have been temporarily put back on the bike, but the slipstream collection and heel rest listed still come with the bike.
  • Billet rear brake lever, HD 42632-07.
  • Slipstream collection rear brake pad, HD 50600037.
  • Billet shift lever, HD 34539-00.
  • Slipstream collection shifter peg, HD 33600008.
  • Billet Heel Rest kit, HD 50227-01.
  • Slipstream collection heel rest pegs, HD (used two more shifter pegs 33600008).
  • Arlen Ness 3" forward control extension plates for FX forward foot controls, with chrome hardware and stainless brake line.
  • Billet custom flame shifter rod, aftermarket.
  • Chrome Voltage regulator Cover, HD 74597-01.
  • Finned head bolt covers, HD 44296-04.
  • Fuel Tank Fitting Cover, HD 62809-06.
  • All engine/rocker and tappet bolts, engine mount bolts, transmission cover bolts, trans mount bolts, starter mount bolts, and primary cover bolts are covered by HD's Classic Chrome bolt covers.  The only zinc bolts showing are the banjo bolts, pivot bolts and rear axle bolts.
  • Timer cover screws, derby cover screws, fender strut screws have been replaced with HD chrome replacement parts.
  • Quick Detach mounting kits for bags and sissy bar, chrome HD 52300243 and 52300239.
  • Quick Detach sideplates for sissy bar, chrome HD 53810-00B.
  • Chrome Medium Low Sissy Bar, HD 52540-09A
  • Backrest Pad Low French Seam, HD 51642-06.
  • Quick Detach Smooth Leather bags, HD 90200816.
  • Sundowner driver seat, HD 52000098.  Two hand bolts allow you to quickly swap out the stock driver's seat for the Sundowner when you want to travel longer distances.
  • Sundowner passenger pillion, HD 52400066.  A single hand bolt allows you to quickly swap out the stock passenger pillion for the Sundowner pillion when you want to travel long distances with a passenger.  Or, remove passenger pillion altogether for solo look.
  • Bassani Firepower 3" exhaust Slip on mufflers with black grooved billet tips.  You can search YouTube for a couple of videos of the exhaust with baffles and without - search for "breakout with bassani" and you should find them.  It is currently running without baffles, but they can be reinstalled with wrapping if necessary and come with the bike.
  • Shortee Gloss Black upper belt guard, HD 60300004.
  • Gloss black lower belt guard, HD 57100179.
  • Smoked Turn Signal Lens Kit, HD 69304-02.
  • I also will include a Kuryakyn Gloss Black swing arm mount license plate frame (no brake light), you would need to get the actual mount kit.
  • Some pictures may not show all of the accessories, this is due to the timing of taking the pics and installing the accessories.  Finally, the 1K recommended service has not yet been performed.
