Harley-Davidson Softail description

I have a 2000 Softail Deuce that I really just want to trade for a turn key 1964 Impala, or 1960's Buick Wildcat, or something of this nature. Welcome all offers.  This bike is second to none.  I bought it in 2002.  It has way to much chrome to list, pretty much all chrome.  It has been well maintained and taken care of.  Bike has the following extras:

1550 Big Bore Kit with Screamin Eagle heads

Kuryakyn Hypercharger

Thunderheader Pipe

Custom Harley Paint

Screamin Eagle Deuce Seat and a Harley Solo seat with a two up pad

Neon under the gas tank

Blue light mounted on the side

Detachable windshield

Extended Forward Controls

New Battery

Motorcycle Cover

Sac Back Rest bag

I can't imagine what all the extra's on this bike adds up to money wise.   I'm really looking to trade for a turn key 1964 impala.  But if someone wants to buy it outright, this is what it takes.  Please ask with any and all questions.

Michael Jackson in Speed Demon [video]

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not.  We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“  exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe. The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
