The bike that you are hoping to walk away with as the winner is an absolutely stunning 2001 FXSTDI; Harley Davidson Softail Deuce!  This bike is in immaculate condition & has just been serviced, oil changed, and a new front tire by my certified Harley tech here at Thunder Cycle!  This bike is ready to rip the road and has everything you need to rip from light to light, or to hit the open road and do a trip.  The engine is awesome as it has the Harley 1550 Stage II kit complete with Screaming Eagle jugs, piston, high flow air intake, and the tuneable Patriot 2 into 1 exhaust.....this bike is exciting to ride!!  If you are looking for comfort this bike has been upgrade to the taller T-bar pull back bar...super comfortable and awesome looking.  It also has the Harley Genuine leather Softail Deuce saddle bags, Harley quick detachable windsield, passenger back rest, ultra comfortable Lindy Bar (engine guard with buil in highway pegs), highway pegs, and a lot more.  The bike is in absolute beautiful condition, the paint is very near perfect and the chrome is in absolute beautiful shiney, unpitted condition (and there is a lot of chome on this bad boy.)

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent

Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.
