Harley-Davidson Softail description

I am Selling a 1996 Harley Davidson Heritage Soft tail Nostalgia Special Edition. Only a Limited amount of these were made with this color combination, which is Extremely Rare & collectable. This is a great bike for someone looking for an original chromed out bike rather than a stocker! Paint is like new! Has Ding in front fender. There when bike was purchased. Excellent condition. Very low production numbers and very few remain in like new condition 12,5xx pampered miles.  Very limited production and only produced from 1993-1996. Only 1 color was available each year. Mystic Green & Platinum Silver Has 14" Diablo apes from Demond cycles. The right knuckle on bars is lose in the press. I removed the saddle bags and rear seat but can installed when purchased. Still owe on loan. Title will be sent as soon as Harley is paid. Bike since I owned has been garage kept with cover. I purchased from Harley in 2011 with 10,500 and now has a low 12,5xx. Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.

Stuck for a gift? Solution No2: Harley-Davidson merchandise

Fri, 09 Dec 2011

Next year marks a strange anniversary for Harley-Davidson; 100 years of the firm's merchandising operation. Yes, just nine years after getting in on the motorcycle game H-D realised that the real cash was to be found in selling accessories rather than just bikes. And they're masters of the art.
