For Sale is an original 1973 Harley Sportster Chopper XLH 1000 w/ electric start and 5" over front end
This is a NO RESERVE auction Original numbers matching frame w/ 1973 1000cc Ironhead motor. Motor is electric start only. fork seals, chain etc appear in good condition This is a mostly original, 2 owner bike that has been stored in a garage since 1986 Does not run, but motor turns over freely w/ good compression Vin# 3A64016H3 Good example of a classic original ironhead appears to be original paint.( tank paint is bubbled and chipped).inside of the tank is clean, but smells of old gas.single disk front end.will need battery and complete tuneup along with tire and carb rebuilt before driveable.Also needs front brake lever/ master cylinder Front rim is dented and tire needs replaced. Eric Bostrom to Race TTXGP for Brammo at Laguna Seca
Thu, 26 Jul 2012Eric Bostrom has signed on to ride the Brammo Empulse RR in the electric motorcycle race at Laguna Seca July 28-29. The race is the final stop on the TTXGP‘s North American series and a joint event with the FIM’s ePower series. The AMA racing veteran will join Steve Atlas to represent Team Icon Brammo at Laguna Seca.
