1200 Pro Sportster Drag Bike Harley-Davidson 1992 5-Speed Sportster This is for a highly modified Sportster Drag bike made for 1/8th mile races. Bike is ready to race, no blown engine on this baby! Lets start with whats done, starting from the Top of the Engine to the Bottom. So The Rocker Boxes are off a buel, cast finish, not polished, not chromed, not painted. The Rockers are Roller Rockers, 1.675 Ratio. Cometic Gaskets. Head Breather Rocker Boxes Buell Lightning Heads 62cc Chambers that have been machined to 30 degree domes. Valves are Stock Buell Lightning Size: 1.715" diameter intake valves, 1.480" diameter exhaust valves Intake and Exhaust ports have been ported and then flowed. They are NOT Polished. Stock Color , Aluminum Raw. Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
Harley-Davidson Museum’s Custom Bike Show Weekend on Labor Day

Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.
Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.
