You are looking at and possibly bidding on a redone 1993 Harley Davidson 883 Sportster Bobber. The bike has been recently painted, new seals, gaskets, and rings. New springer front end, good belt, tires half worn, custom made seat, and many other new parts to many to list. Have all the receipts for all the work done to the bike. The bike is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to stop the ebay auction. 2014 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob Receives Dark Custom Makeover
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob is returning for 2014 with a new blacked-out look as the latest model to get H-D’s Dark Custom look. The new, darker Fat Bob features a number of blacked-out components including the powertrain and air cleaner cover, rear shock covers, triple clamps, headlight trim, console and battery box cover. The machined aluminum slotted disc wheels have also been received a black powdercoated finish as well as a laser-ingraved Harley-Davidson logo and rim stripe.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
