Harley-Davidson Sportster description

1998 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH 883 Hugger. This Harley is in excellent condition, looks great and runs perfect. Very well taken care of. Engine oil and filter, and chaincase oil has been changed 200 miles ago with Harley-Davidson Oils. Took the bike to Laugermans Harley in York and they said its in great shape. It has 26,600 miles which is still low for a 1998. Has lots of nice clean chrome, pipes are wrapped with chrome heat wrap about a quarter way down from the heads ( bike comes with the extra roll of heat wrap). 12" Ape hangers on it. LED Headlight and tail light. Mid-controls, highway pegs, passenger foot pegs, passenger seat and back rest, all lights and horn works. Was PA state inspected in April and passed no problem. Nice and loud like a Harley should be, Pipes have removable baffles. Carbeurated 883cc Harley engine with fuel shutoff valve and fuel reserve incase it runs out of gas. Has turn signal light indicators, highbeam on indicator, low oil pressure indicator, and neutral indicator lights. 5-speed transmission. Its my first bike and I love it, but my wife and I are trying for a baby and its one less expense. I am the 3rd owner. I bought the bike in april 2013 with 24,200 miles on it, not knowing we would trying for a baby soon. I've had no problems at all with it, always starts right up and runs great. Been garage kept by all 3 owners. I will accept payment through verified paypal, cash, or a check. But I will need to cash the check before handing over the bike. I do not have a trailer, therefore I could drive the bike to buyers house if needed and be picked up by my wife. Or buyer can pick it up. Please call or text 410-627-3641. E-mail rtwallace88@yahoo.com. Bike is located in Red Lion, PA. Thank You

Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

Tue, 17 May 2011

Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says  Jeffrey I.
