Up for sale is my pride and joy 2000 Sportster, circumstances dictate that I sell it. If you are looking for new or perfect, don't look here, if you want one of the best used bikes around ,here it is. 18,840 miles as of listing. The good, The Bad and The Ugly The Good--- Less than 2000 miles ago, New front and rear tires, new battery, new brakes on front and rear, with rotors, new major tune up, carb overhaul, new pipes. New stock seat. The custom paint is as good as it gets for age ( black lines in picture and overhead wire reflections , not in paint ) I will change oil and filter for you. Runs and rides like NEW !!!! The Bad--- After she sits for extended periods (months )It can be a chalenge to fire up ( I will tell you what I found to work best ) The Ugly--- The front wheel spokes do not shine any more, the speedometer bezel has a scratch and the nut is a bit rusty, a nut cap ( cover) on right case is missing. This requires a $500.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit at auction end. Repeat NON REFUNDABLE, so do not bid if you don't have all of the funds to purchase, no excuses. The balance will be due in a bank check within 10 days of auction ending ( more than fair ) This is a pick up only or if you make the shipping araingements I will send it off for you. Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home
Tue, 04 Feb 2014If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.
