Harley-Davidson Sportster description
2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Roadster, DRESSED TO IMPRESS!!! Nothing makes an impact on a gut like the time-honoured shape and raw power of the 1200 Roadster. It leaves an unsettled feeling in the pit of the stomach that refuses to sit still until it s fed some throttle. That s where the rubber-mounted, silver and wrinkle black Evolution engine doesn t disappoint. High-compression, high-flow heads and performance cams, make this street machine run harder, faster and longer than ever. To go with the improved powertrain, the 1200 Roadster s famed XL handling gets even better, thanks to the new stronger rear axle. We finished it off right. Sport tyres on laced wheels. Triple-disc brakes. Wide polished handlebar. Tach with 6,000 RPM redline. Chrome headlight visor. And classic fuel tank. There s never been a better time to answer that rumble in the belly. Wed, 07 Sep 2011Here’s a story that might seem humorous at first but turns out to be a testament to a man’s love of motorcycling and the memories of a fallen friend. Ed Spalding of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada, and his close friend Roger Bourgoin bought Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 1991. To celebrate their purchases, the two also bought a pair of gold rings.
