Harley-Davidson Sportster description

For sale is a 2005 Harley Davidson 1200 XLC in great condition.  

The bike has Custom tank work and has a Custom paint job on it with a base coat of gold Metallic flake then top coated with House of Colors "Candy apple red" which really pops out the chrome (you can see in the pic's).  

Screaming' Eagle stage 1 with Vance Hines "Straight shots" pipes. 

Also has a newer battery with H/D battery tender. 

Has lots of Chrome everywhere on it and so much more. 

It looks and sounds great; I always get compliments when I take it out.  

It has 26,565 miles on it and is well maintained and garaged kept.   

This bike is done up right and in perfect running condition but sometime soon it will be needing a set of  new tires.   

Title in Hand and priced low to sell so someone can enjoy the rest of the Fall on it.

MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has started what it calls the first-ever naturalistic study of motorcycling, with 100 motorcycles equipped with data logging equipment to record real-world riding situations over the course of a year. This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.

Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator

A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their  was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
