Harley-Davidson Sportster description

This is a beautiful black and chrome bike, I am not kidding when I say it is a head turner, everywhere we go people look at it and tell us what a nice bike it is. We are only getting rid of it because I can  not ride anymore (bad back) so we are finding another hobby we can do together. We are sad to see it go. My husband is very picky and this bike shows it. The windshield and backrest are removable and the seat is an after market touring seat...very comfy. The bike has too many extras to list but here are a few more, forward controls, after market LOUD pipes...sounds like a Harley should sound...grips, pegs, light covers, crash bar and some odds and ends chrome.

Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit

Tue, 06 Mar 2012

The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.

Gymnast on a Harley….Wow.

What happens when you take away a smokin’ hot gymnast’s balance beam and replace it with a Harley-Davidson Fat Bob? It’s only 30 seconds but who’s to stop you from playing it over and over again? Now what would be even more amazing is if there was a dude riding that bike on the highway while she did that.  What would be a million times more amazing would be if that dude was me.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
