Harley-Davidson Touring description

I bought this bike in 1990 after riding pans and knuckles for nearly 20 years. In 26 years I've been through probably everything from the neck brgs and races to swing arm brgs and races, wheel brgs, etc. This has been a ridden motorcycle, that's what it was bought for, not a garage queen for special occasions. I rode it as a more stripped down dresser, this is the first time in 26 years it's had it's front fairing installed, or tourpack, etc.All of the "garbage bagger" items have been up in the rafters of my garage all of this time, consequently some of it has rusted, check the photos for details. The engine had been stroked before I bought it, I just never de-stroked it. It's more of a touring type big inch engine than a racer type engine, and touring is what it has been used for. Enclosed is one photo of the stripped down dresser I had ridden it as before I installed all of the more stock  FULL dress items for sale. Some of the  OEM options included with this bike include the spotlight/turnsignals, fairing and tourpack, rear saddlebag rails, the left side air scoop, original footboards, oiltank, slider cones, the toolbox and mounting bracket, both front and rear center stands, the buddy seat with original back rest and buddy springs, both original mufflers with the left side exhaust pipe and heat shields, the front lower sidecar mounting frame loops.  The front forks are extended 2" over and have the sidecar type adjustable rake triple trees and steering damper. The later style oiltank with the side filler was added for convenience and also to make use of the oil cooler you see in the photos. The key for the tour pack is gone, I don't know whatever happened to it. The front crash bar clamps for the rear bag rails are missing.  At this point in time I don't expect any buyer for this bike will buy it to ride as I did, but with some tlc this bike will once again be the proud 1969 garbage wagon it apparently began life as so many years ago. All of the optional gear is there. Kickstarter has been added, but it's OEM stuff, not aftermarket. Bike is equipped with highdollar Odyssey battery, a gel type unit. New aftermarket speedometer was installed when the engine was last rebuilt, it's the 2nd or 3rd since I've had it, no idea what happened to the original unit. This bike is a real sweetheart!
