 1971 Shovelhead FLH Harley Davidson Electra Glide

Super Clean 1971 Shovel. The motor has 1800 Miles on it since it was professionally built by Tommy Bubel  @ RED Racing in Boca Raton Florida. Upgraded with, CV Carb, S&S Heads, 80" Wheels & Cylinders, Points ignition. Upgraded to disk brakes front and back. Very nice Orange and Cream Paint. There are a few small chips. Matching saddle bags with mounting brackets. 50% Life left in the tires. The neck has been molded with a slight rake. The bike always starts on the first or second kick. There is plenty of power and she is geared to cruise nicely on the highway at 65-70 MPH. The electric starter is currently disconnected because the jack shaft was sticking. Clean Clear Florida Title. Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit

The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“  exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

One of the many highlights is the giant XR1200 Harley-Davidson Sportster that has been hand-carved from ice and snow by the USA Snow Sculpting Team, on the corner of 5th and Canal Streets.
