Harley-Davidson Touring description
What we have here is a 1993 FLHS sport dresser in black. Everything works. The mileage is 61,765. It has a small dent in the left side of the tank. The whole bike looks real nice and the shop where I get work done says it's pretty quick. It has a passenger backrest and I driver's back rest. There is a luggage rack but no tour pak. I have one I'll give the buyer should one be needed. There's some scratches in the wind shield. It has a plush comfortable seat, I bought new a couple years ago, the same as the original seat, which I like. There is a new Andrews cam with new Fueling pushrods and lifters. The oil's fresh...stop by, pay me, and ride it home to anywhere. $500 deposit immediately upon winning and we can talk about the final payment between us. Call Florida George at 772-201-4242 for more pics. C ya in Sturgis. |

A Man of LOVE
Fri, 24 Oct 2008I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).
Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
