First let me say this. This girl has gotten me across country twice, once from Boston to Anchorage. She has never let me down. She is made for the man who wants to get out on the road and just enjoy the present. I am actually quite sentimental about selling her but the temptation to ride is to strong.
Due to a non motorcycle accident I am not able to ride anymore. Any biker knows this is like having a limb removed. 1. The front tire needs a new tube 2. A battery is needed 3. A tune up is needed. Currently not turning over due to dead battery. But here is where this bike is not like any other bike you have ever ridden on. It has been driven, not trailered, in all 49 states, yes including Alaska. Up until this year it was meticulously taken care of. It had to be to make it through all those states. There are no major problems and the only problem it ever had was the cam tensioner chain broke. Other than that the belt driven beast made it through the gravel of the Yukon. So if you are looking at Harley with some history, I am talking real history this road king is for you. I do have some wiggle room on the price since it will need to be towed away. 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
