Harley-Davidson Touring description

Yup-that's right, just 1350 actual miles on this bike...Took it in on trade from a friend for a Springer that I had...Bike is like new with the only exception being a small chip at bottom of rear fender-it's a non-issue...I have the original cover and owners manuals for it...I also have the stock pipes...It has slip ons and that is the only aftermarket/add-on on the bike...103" engine...5-speed gearbox...If your a Harley guy you know what this bike is and I don't need to explain it...The price is firm and worth it...Gonna run it through here once-If it doesn't bring the money I will keep it and start riding it...I have both backrests for it...Clean and clear title in hand with no liens...Bike is eating no hay where it sits but I really don't need it...SERIOUS buyers can reach me at 816-604-8094....No joy-rides and no games...Check my 100% positive feedback-It speaks for itself and I would like to keep it that way...Thanks-Aaron...THE PRICE IS FIRM AND WELL WORTH IT....NO TRADES EXCEPT GREEN MONEY.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
