Lorenzo Lamas To Lead ‘Ride To The Dunes’”

The second annual ‘Ride to the Dunes’ charity ride for child abuse awareness kicks off Sunday, June 2 2013, with Grand Marshal Lorenzo Lamas leading the way. The ride will start at Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina Del Rey, California and end at Sycamore Cove State Beach in Malibu, where guests will be treated to lunch and a concert by Alchemy. Riders of all makes and models are welcome to join.

Harley-Davidson Confirms Project Livewire Will Appear In Avengers Movie

From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film. In 1914 the city of Dodge City, Kansas held a motorcycle race, the Dodge City 300, attracting over 17,000 spectators. By 1921 there were more than 20,000. The race was held on a two-mile dirt oval and was sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists).
