Actor and Avid Rider, Lorenzo Lamas, to Lead Charity Ride for Abused Children
Thu, 08 Mar 2012Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. 2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
