The following items have less than 500 miles: Michelin Commander II tires, HD battery, platinum plugs & wires, K&N air filter, full service fluid change with Amsoil synthetics, Hogg Tunes/Rokker Audio 500 watt 6 speaker system with 7" subs in lower fairings, factory am/fm/cd head unit (original had faulty pre-outs), shorty antennas, quick detach lower fairings, Vance & Hines dual exhaust, HD shorty windshield (includes three additional windshields of varying heights), HD 3 pocket leather fairing bag, custom mirrors, Kuryakyn drink holders and luggage rack.  Vivid black paint is still in showroom like condition. Also includes custom HD cover.  Over $30K invested.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.

Bonhams To Sell Garelli Grand Prix Collection At No Reserve

Mark your calendars for February 5 and 6, 2013, as those are the dates when Bonhams — one of the world’s largest auctioneers of fine arts and antiques — will put for sale two motorcycle collections which include some incredibly rare and historic machines. The Grand Palais in Paris, France will play host to the auction, which includes the entire Garelli Grand Prix collection as its headliner. Founded in 1919, many famous Italian racers got their starts on Garelli motorcycles.
