Harley-Davidson Touring description

2008 Harley Davidson Street Glide. 12,729 actual miles. The color is Crimson Red with passenger back rest and a comfortable custom seat. Bought used in April 2009 from Bowling Green Harley Davidson with approximately 3,300 miles. Back tire has been replaced since I've owned it along with regular scheduled oil changes.  It also has a battery tender. The bike has Vance & Hines slip ons. I do have the factory pipes and seat if anyone is interested. Garage kept, never laid down, very clean. 
Buyer must pick up. $500 deposit will hold.

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

Harley-Davidson donated more than $4.5 million to support various charitable groups in 2012. The donations, which include both grants and merchandise, went to several organizations, including those around Harley-Davidson‘s bases in Milwaukee, Wis., York, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., but also to groups across the nation. The Milwaukee chapter of Habitat for Humanity received a $200,000 grant for its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, helping fund housing projects in the Washington Park community.
