I am selling a 2009 Screaming Eagle Road Glide. Motorcycle is extremely clean and is MINT condition. Has never been scratched wrecked dropped or even ridden in the rain. Bike has 6263 pampered miles. Has a complete Vance and Hines exhaust with Screaming Eagle Race Tuner. Klockworks light tinted windhsield. All work and recent 5k mile service done at Harley. Tires are in excellent condition and have plenty of life left. Bike is loaded with extra chrome and sounds amazing. Bike is priced fairly. I have the bike listed locally as well. I reserve the right to end auction early and require a deposit o $500.00 at end of auction. I am located in South Florida and welcome all inspections. Bike has a clear Florida title. Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump
Tue, 28 Apr 2009Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history. People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here… Why not motorcycles? Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes. Personally, I think it looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
