This is a 1 owner Motorcycle. It was purchased brand new from the dealer and now it is time to sell. The miles are low at under 10,000 (9947). The Road Glide offers a frame mounted fairing, weather band/AM/FM radio, CD player, headphones with rear hookup, cruise control, Travel Trunk and hard side bags. Includes the original book. 2 key fobs. (Security system fobs) Maintenance has been done each year at a Harley dealer. Chrome foot pads for passenger, and foot pads for driver. 103 cubic inch engine. Tires are original. Nothing has been added or changed on the motorcycle. We will accept Cash/money orders/cashiers checks. Pick up only, no shipping. The motorcycle will be sold "As Is". Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain
Mon, 15 Nov 2010THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.
Arlen Ness B-Day Bash At Petersen Museum
Fri, 31 May 2013On July 12 the Petersen Automotive Museum is throwing a birthday party for one of motorcycling’s customizing icons, Arlen Ness. The B-day celebration will be followed by a V-Twin Cruise-In on July 13 and punctuated by a summer-long exhibit entitled Arlen Ness: Art on Two Wheels. The July 12th birthday party is open to the public and the $95 ticket price puts you in the company of Arlen and other customizing aristocrats and also includes cocktails and dinner.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
