Custom show bike 2012 Harley Street Glide FLHX with 26 inch wheel!!

This bike will make your friends envious, right up to your local bar on this beauty and you will be the hit of the night.

This bike originally started as a stock 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide purchased in December 2012 from Naples Harley Davidson.  It was stripped-down with 975 miles to start it's journey.   The neck was cut and a 9 Degree Yaffe neck block and 9 degree HHI trees were added. All wiring was one through the frame and neck. A custom-made one-of-a-kind Thompson 26 inch KELOWNA wheel was edge cut to accent the front.   The factory front faring was custom raked to accommodate the new rake, a brow was also added to the top of it, along with flush LED turn signals. Next the shock tank was stretched using a Pickard tank extension, extended side covers and 4" extended bags and fenders finished off the back.   6.5" bag lids were added to accommodate for the new sound system.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

2011 Indy Mile Cancelled

Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.

Dodge City 300 Looking To Celebrate Centennial Anniversary In 2014

In 1914 the city of Dodge City, Kansas held a motorcycle race, the Dodge City 300, attracting over 17,000 spectators. By 1921 there were more than 20,000. The race was held on a two-mile dirt oval and was sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists).
