Harley-Davidson Touring description

2013 FLTRX Road Glide.  Like new.  1594 Miles. They no longer make this model so this is as close as you'll get to buying a new one.  Add-ons include Klockwerks low windshield, passenger backrest mounts, (no backrest), and the Harley premium ride 12" shocks. These are the shocks that come standard on the Screamin' Eagle baggers and should be stock on all dressers. There is 1-1/2 years warranty left on the bike. The bike has cruise control. It does not have anti-lock brakes. I would be willing to be open for an older bike along with cash. I am currently building a house and need some cash. The bike is paid for and I have the title in hand. I will ship anywhere in the continental U.S. for $750. Call me with any questions.  Brian  563-260-5300

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
