Harley-Davidson Touring description

For sale is a GREAT condition 2014 Street Glide Special with just over 10,000 miles on it... It has a lot of aftermarket add ons such as Vance and Hines Slip on exhaust, Arlen Ness Chrome Grips, Pegs, 4 Point Docking hardware with Sissy Bar, etc... It also has Hot Leg Chrome Forks and a 23 inch Fat Spoke front wheel... The wheel was professionally installed and I have put over 4000 miles on it since the install and it rides great... The bike is in great condition with only one scratch to note... it's on the fender as you can see in the pics where the brake line cables rubbed the fender... it's not noticeable unless you move the cables over... I have almost $30,000 invested so my loss is your gain!!! If you have any other questions please feel free to call or text me at 843-424-9082... Shipping is available at the buyers expense and financing can be arranged through Harley's rider to rider program through a dealership for a small fee...

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.

EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500 First Impressions Video

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
