Harley-Davidson Touring description

2001 Custom built Harley Davidson Road Glide. I bought this bike from a Harley technician 3 years ago in stock form. Well cared for Texas bike.  We completely disassembled and rebuilt into what you see here.  We went through the top end and increased displacement to 105 cubic inches .  This bike is FAST and a blast to ride.  We powder coated everything, including the wheels, in a wrinkle black finish to compliment the Harley engine finish and give it a sinister look.  All paint and body work was professionally done with Spies- Hecker and Dupont products.  The color is Dodge Snake Skin Green with a gloss black stripe and looks incredible in the sun.  Following is a build list.  Please feel free to email me with any questions.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...

EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

The Street 750 and Street 500 from Harley-Davidson represent the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years. Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.
