2003 HARLEY DAVIDSON ROAD GLIDE 100TH ANNIVERSARY

SOLID BLACK

LOW MILEAGE 12,235

FOR THE DIE HARD HARLEY DAVIDSON BIKER

DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES I NO LONGER CAN RIDE SO I AM OFFERING THIS BIKE FOR SALE AT A FIXED PRICE AND WILL CONSIDER REASONABLE OFFERS.

THIS BIKE HAS BEEN LOWERED 1.5" FRONT AND BACK. SOUNDS AND RUNS AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS.

THE PREVIOUS OWNER WENT DOWN ON THIS BIKE SHORTLY CAUSING FRONT FENDER, INNER FORKS WERE SLIGHTLY TWEEKED AND A LITTLE TANK DAMAGE.  THE FENDER, FORKS AND TANK HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND REPAINTED SOLID BLACK.  I REPLACED THE WIND SCREEN WITH A AFTER MARKET WIND SCREEN.  ANNIVERSARY EDITION STRIPPING WAS NOT REPLACED.  HOWEVER, THE 100 YEAR BADGING REMAINS.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS BIKE.  I HAVE OWNED BIKES ALL MY LIFE AND THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES.

I REMOVED THE PASSENGER BACKREST AND FOOTBOARDS AND WILL GO WITH THE BIKE.

Barbie and Ken get biker makeover

Mon, 15 Feb 2010

IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.

1 of 11Next Last   Motorcycles and rock ‘n’ roll. Ever since The King threw his leg over his ’56 Harley-Davidson and the Black Rebels rolled into Carbonville, the combination of motorcycles and rock have been as combustible as gas and spark. Early moto-rock lived for the most part on the fringes of pop music, in the pomped-up rockabilly of guys like Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent.
