It's built around the race-inspired Revolution engine. A high-revving, liquid-cooled, 115-hp, 60°, 1130cc, fuel-injected V-Twin marvel that puts the power in powertrain. We showcase this mechanical wonder in a hydro-formed perimeter frame. Then we rubber-mount and counterbalance it for a smooth ride. Part of the trademark of the V-Rod is the styling of the aluminum bodywork. It pushes the look of the fenders, air box cover and dual scoop radiator cover. A factory security system is now standard. Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.

At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
