Harley-Davidson VRSC description

This is a 2004 V-Rod VRSCB (black frame) in excellent condition. It was just serviced at the local Harley dealer, runs great, has lots of power and is ready to go.

It has V-Mod pipes (I have the stock pipes too) and a K&N air cleaner.
It was dyno tuned at the dealer for these upgrades and it runs perfectly.

It also has a very comfy HD Sundowner seat, sissy bar, luggage rack, and passenger floorboards. The sidecovers are from a new Night Rod Special.

The pipes are V-modded stock pipes. Loud, but not ridiculously so.
I also have the stock pipes, seats, passenger pegs and brackets, sidecovers, owner's manual, and a Clymer shop manual to go along with the bike.

Also included is a very handy Sac bag that is specifically made with pockets that secure it to this sissy bar and backrest.

Cosmetically, it is in great shape, with very little wear and tear, and shiny chrome and paint. The only real flaw is a scrape from a curb on the bottom of the right radiator scoop, but you probably wouldn't notice unless it's pointed out (see pics).

I'd be happy to answer any question you might have,
or arrange for you to come check it out. I can send any additional pictures as requested to serious bidders. I can be reached at 484-318-6711.

Due to previous lunatics, sorry, no test rides without cash in my hand. Please only bid if you are serious and have the funds.

I require a $500 paypal or cash in person deposit within 24 hours of auction ending and full payment within 7 days. I will take cash on delivery or a check that must be absolutely clear with my bank before pick up or transfer of title (can take about 5 business days). The mileage may increase slightly before auction ends.

Please ask any questions you might have before bidding.

Thanks for looking!

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
