Harley-Davidson VRSC description

This is a 2004 V-Rod VRSCB (black frame) in excellent condition. It was just serviced at the Harley dealer and runs great and has lots of power.

It was dyno tuned at the dealer for the V-Mod pipes and K&N air cleaner and it runs perfectly. Cosmetically, it is in great shape, with very little wear and tear, and shiny chrome and paint. The only real flaw is a scrape from a curb on the bottom of the right radiator scoop, but you probably wouldn't notice unless pointed out (see pic).

It also has a very comfy HD Sundowner seat, sissy bar, luggage rack, and passenger floorboards. The sidecovers are from a new Night Rod Special. The pipes are V-modded stock pipes. Loud, but not ridiculously so. I also have a set of un-modded stock pipes that'll go with if you want them.

Also included is a handy Sac bag that is specifically made with pockets for this sissy bar and backrest.

I can be reached at 484-318-6711. I'd be happy to answer any question, or arrange for you to come check it out.
I can send any additional pictures as requested to serious bidders.

Due to previous lunatics, sorry, no test rides without cash in my hand. Please only bid if you are serious and have the funds ready.
I require a $500 paypal or cash in person deposit within 24 hours of auction ending and full payment within 7 days. I will take cash on delivery or a check that must be absolutely clear with my bank before pick up (can take about 5 business days). Please ask any questions you might have before bidding.

Thanks for looking!

Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain

Mon, 15 Nov 2010

THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
